Other Software Programs Used for Creating Button Designs?

There are various types of programs available that can be used to design your buttons. I don’t have updates on all of them, but if you have information just let me know. I will be researching the following:

  1. Print Master
  2. Paint Shop Pro
  3. Corel Ultimate Photo II

Not sure about that last one, a customer was telling me about all the ones that she uses and I tried to write all of them down real quick.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Hope you all enjoy your 4th of July weekend =)

  • I have used Corel Paint Shop Pro X2 and it works great. I use 1 1/4 inch badges with 339×339 pixel image. I also have GIMP on another machine but it doesn’t work quite as well as PSP although I have used PSP for years and know it better hence it may just be that I don’t know how to get the best out of GIMP yet. (free is always good though) In GIMP I use 122×122 pixels but I guess it depends on your resolution as to what size works for you.
Have fun trying out the programmes.

    • I was browsing Squidoo.com and found some information on there about PhotoShop Pro X2. I’ll have more tutorial sites for that program. I can honestly say that I’ve been too busy again to work with any programs. I need to schedule an hour of time, twice a week or more to learn one.

I have heard that GIMP was a little more difficult to use, but I agree that it’s probably because you haven’t worked with it as much as Paint Shop.
And yes, “Free” is always good. Lol.

  • I used Gimp and not that difficult but not used that much the way you told.ya Paint Shop Pro X2 works fine..
    Good luck
